Andy also just finished up a great show in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, crushing cars and performing a mini-freestyle for the thrilled fans. More to come on the site involving merchandise and scheduling soon!
8-3-2010
Stafford Springs, Connecticut and Plymouth, Pennsylvania both went very well for Andy and the Eradicator team.
"We had both Eradicator and Backdraft working very well, and the trucks themselves worked flawlessly," said Andy. "I ended up breaking a spindle on my first hit on Saturday, but the entire weekend was very productive and good for us!"
The previous weekend in Plymouth, Pennsylvania saw a first for the team as well, with all three Slifkos (Andy, son Jeremy, and son Jed) driving at the muddy freestyle-only event.
"Jed did well for one of his first experiences driving," said Andy. "He broke a few things, but he ran it hard and everyone was happy."
Enjoy the video above and photos courtesy Steve Parry and Mike Elmendorf; more photos and videos are on the way, as well as some big news!

Andy returned to Dundee, New York with a vengeance, capping a great weekend with a two-minute big air assault that placed him second in freestyle to son Jeremy, driver of Backdraft.
"We can't wait to get some more shows under our belt," said Andy. "We're looking forward to the rest of the summer. I plan on running hard and keeping the fans and sponsors happy!"
Our schedule page is also updated. Enjoy!

With Eradicator out for the night, the team's efforts were focused on Backdraft, and Jeremy ended up in the racing finals, then completed a great night with a freestyle victory as well. Andy continued to impress the fans on Monster
Jam's biggest stages this past weekend, where Orlando is no exception.
"I felt good in the truck and we
adjusted the shocks a bit more, so I'm gaining confidence," said
Andy. "Jeremy let it hang out in Backdraft too. It was a good
weekend overall, and I'm liking how things are going for us!"
The team is next headed to Hartfort,
Connecticut. Enjoy the video above from Orlando!

Andy kept things going well at the huge
show in Minneapolis this past weekend, showing solid efforts in both
racing and freestyle, and cutting a great set of cyclone donuts.
Next up is Orlando, Florida! We'll have a full update from
Minneapolis soon.

Andy started his 2010 season out in fantastic
fashion, taking a wheelie contest victory on Saturday in Manchester,
New Hampshire. He also made the finals in racing, seen above. Jeremy
also did well, as you can see on the
Backdraft site. This weekend is a big show in Detroit, and
you can bet Team Slifko will be ready!

Andy and the team have been working on many
new things for both Eradicator and Backdraft in preparation for
first quarter.
"The fans will see a lot of new stuff
on both trucks, and we're gonna be showing everyone here as soon as
they're ready," he said.
For now, enjoy the video above from Andy's
run Erie this summmer!
9-18-09
Andy "Double O" Slifko caught
some big air in Hunnewell Valley.
"We're still testing out the new
RaceSource shocks for the truck, and the only way to do that is to
push them hard!" he said.
The trucks had a metal long jump to work
with, in addition to some sand that was great for Eradicator's
signature donuts. The team is taking time to prepare for the first
quarter of 2010 at the moment, including some new surprises we will
shed some light on in the near future.

The following is an e-mail we received
recently from some happy fans:
"Dear Andy,
I wanted to write you and let you know that you're a good man.
I admire that you and your son Jeremy work the shows together. You
are like the American Dream. You run your own business, roam up and
down the coast for your fans, and mentored your child to follow in
your footsteps. You can work and still be with your family. I hope I
can achieve a different degree of the same values in my life. I'm
mother to two sons ages 8 and 9. Matthew, the youngest, wants to be
a monster truck driver (of course)... I tell him he's going to have
to put in an extra seat just to give his mom a ride in it one day.
Anyway, we go to all the Monster Jam shows in Connecticut. I think I
enjoy the shows more than my boys. Matt told me I was embarrassing
him because I was cheering so much last Saturday at Stafford Springs
(sheesh). I liked you from the very beginning, from my first show in
Bridgeport, CT. In that cramped Arena at Harbor Yard venue, you put
on an edgy performance I appreciated. And your truck colors. Purple,
black... you gotta love it. I love it! Well, I don't want to send
your eyes rolling all the way to the back of your head with all this
admiration and praise. But please, believe it, it's sincere. Hope
you don't mind a little free PR. Don't give up the fight, cause I'm
rooting for you! See you in the next CT show. Best regards,
Allison Bellows"

After a trip to Canada and fitting the
truck with new RaceSource shocks, Andy has been impressing everyone
lately with his new setup.
"We have had a few gremlins kick in,
especially during Stafford, but we have them worked out and I can't
wait to hit some things with a bunch of speed in freestyle!" he
said. Check out the videos below:

Jeremy's bio and the Schedule page are now
updated!

Bangor, Maine was the first show Jeremy got
to try out his new Racesource shocks, and it was a great
success.
"The shocks worked very well for
Jeremy, and he was getting some of the biggest air of the
weekend!" said Jeremy's mother, Kathy.
Andy
and Jeremy capped the first quarter of 2009 with two awards at the
Monster Jam Awards banquet. Andy took home the Save of the Year
award along (shared with Steve Koehler) for his amazing bicyle
during his freestyle in Atlanta, and Jeremy got what he was looking
for all season--the 2009 Monster Jam Rookie of the Year award!
"It
is incredible! I want to thank everyone that's helped me over the
years; it means a lot to me to be recognized by my peers for
this," said Jeremy. "I was getting congratulations from
people I barely knew, and it was just great. Thank you to
everyone!"
Jeremy and
Andy were busy with the final first-quarter show in Lexington,
Kentucky during the awards ceremony, so Avenger's Jim Koehler
accepted the awards on their behalf. Andy took a big win in the
donut contest:
We
will have a full summer schedule and a complete interview with
Jeremy online soon!

The
following is an e-mail from the Stark family, who attended the
recent East Rutherford, New Jersey show:
"Hey Andy & Jeremy,
My family and I were really happy to see
you guys again. The last time was in Middletown, NY. Our son Jason
was very excited to see "His pal Jeremy" again. Thanks for
the great pics in the pit party. I have attached them also. You
guy's put on a great show, going up against some tough, big name
competition.
Once again, thank you for being
so kind to my son and family and we look forward to the next time we
meet again.
Sincerely,
Scott, Sharon, & Jason Stark"
Thanks for the message, guys! We will have
updates from Hartford online soon!

East
Rutherford was a good weekend for the Eradicator team, with Andy
taking Madusa to the limit in racing and wheelie competitions, with
a battery shorting out during racing. He came back to win the donut
competition, however, and good runs were put forth by both Andy and
Jeremy in freestyle.
"We
will have some new parts for both trucks soon, and a few more
surprises also," said Andy. Stay tuned for more information on
that!
1-28-09
Indianapolis was the place to be on
Saturday night, as Jeremy and Andy made the trip to Lucas Oil Field
for the huge televised Monster Jam. Freestyle was where it was at
for both trucks, as Jeremy came out early and had a great run that
included a slap wheelie and several vertical wheel stands. Andy took
Eradicator to the early lead with a candidate for the "Save of
the Year" award, pictured above.
"I was doing some driving during that
one!" he said with a laugh. Photos from Toronto and
Indianapolis are now online! The team heads to East Rutherford, New
Jersey this weekend for a smaller arena. Thanks for visiting the
site!

It's been an exciting start to the new
season for Andy and Jeremy! Week one in Atlanta saw both Slifkos
turn in great freestyle performances to wow the Georgia Dome crowd.
Videos of both runs are below:
From there it was on to Toronto for two
more big stadium shows. Again the Slifkos brought the house down,
and Jeremy even had a rollover in racing (photos from Steve Parry).
"We have the mold for the new fire
truck body we debuted in Atlanta, so we will have a fresh body on
this weekend for Indianapolis," said Andy.
The team is on the road and we will have
plenty more photos and coverage soon!
12-8-2008
Be sure to check out our 2009
schedule, as it is coming up soon! Jeremy let us
know today that fans are in for a big surprise when Backdraft hits
the track in Atlanta; it will be debuting a new look! Keep checking
the site for updates!
11-19-2008
Hampton, Virginia was a wild weekend for
Jeremy and Backdraft. Although he didn't come away with any
victories, he turned the fans on with a light rollover during
Saturday's show, the first of his career.
"I felt the truck start to go, and I
didn't know where everyone was at on the floor, so I had to just let
it go," he said. "They shut me off anyway. I wish I could
have done something to save it, but safety is more
important."
Check out Dustin Hart's fantastic
photos from Hampton in the photo gallery!

We now have photos online from Montreal
courtesy of Heather Swan and Stephanie Cotnoir of Avengerracing.com;
thanks guys! In addition, check out this video of Jeremy's freestyle
run (at around the 2:00 mark it begins)!
11-3-2008
Andy and Jeremy had strong showings this
past weekend in Montreal, with both putting up great freestyle runs
and advancing multiple rounds of racing.
"Jeremy did one heck of a
freestyle," said Andy. "He was flying around all over the
place hitting everything, and there were some big obstacles out
there!"
Jeremy did not break any parts, and even
though he suffered a broken front tie rod and heim, Andy made a few
more hits in his freestyle for the fans.
We are proud to announce a new sponsorship
with ButlerBuilt Seats. They will provide Andy and Jeremy great
performance and comfort in Eradicator and Backdraft, and we are
happy to have them as part of our team!
Our Schedule page is updated with the event
in Montreal on November 1, and more updates are to come there. Also,
check out Chris Kaelin's videos of Eradicator and Backdraft
freestyling in Joliet, Illinois at the link below:
We now have photos from this past weekend's
show at Joliet online! Check out Andy's trip to the racing finals

What a couple of weeks it has been for
Eradicator and Backdraft! At the "Vermonsters" event in
Bradford, Vermont two weeks ago, Andy and Jeremy put on great shows,
including Jeremy clearing a bus lengthwise and snapping a spindle
off. After their performance, they were notified that they would be
featured in the newest Trucks Gone Wild DVD!
From there, the team headed to Joliet,
Illinois. Backdraft was on display at Chili's on Friday, then the
big show Saturday came. Andy took Eradicator to the final round of
racing for the second straight year, losing by two truck lengths to
Chris Bergeron and Brutus, while Jeremy made a few rounds as well.
"People were joking with me that
Jeremy did better than me, but I think we both did well," said
Andy with a laugh.
Freestyle saw Jeremy give a high-energy run
with lots of momentum and air.
"I definitely had fun out there, I
just wish I could have run longer!" he said.
Andy took Eradicator through its paces,
smashing through both a double wide house and a fresh mobile home on
the track, among other things. After the hit on the mobile home,
however, the truck suffered front steering issues and Andy called it
a run. Photos and video will be online soon! For now, enjoy Chris
Kaelin's qualifying video, which includes Backdraft and Eradicator:
Cale Putnam was kind enough to share a few
of his photos from Rochester, New Hampshire, where Andy and Jeremy
had a great weekend. Check them out in our Photos section!
"The fans definitely got their money's
worth this weekend; It was an awesome weekend," said Jeremy.
"I had a little issue with the transmission heating up towards
the end, but we did well, and I definitely give everyone racing
credit, they did great!"
Jeremy took Backdraft to three racing
finals on the weekend, and Andy stepped it up for freestyle with
some great runs as well.
9-17-2008
Jeremy was able to take Backdraft to all
three final rounds of racing this past weekend in Rochester, and
as usual, impressed many of his peers. More information is on the
way!
8-30-2008
Catching up with the last few weeks'
events, things went very well for Andy and Jeremy with the exception
of a slight miscue in one event in Pennsylvania.
"I went to slide the truck around a
corner after one hit, and I slid it onto the roof on accident,"
said Andy with a laugh. "I didn't mean to do it but it got the
crowd fired up a bit!"
Jeremy took the reigns for another local
show and impressed once again in a mini-freestyle exhibition,
showing he will make this a fearsome two-truck team for 2009. Look
for more updates soon!
8-6-2008
Andy and Jeremy have been busy competing in
some high-level summer events, including the Middletown, New York
Monster Truck Challenge event and the big Monster Jam in Stafford
Springs. In Middletown, Andy did major damage to the cradle of the
truck, but Jeremy picked up the slack and learned some more in
Backdraft, catching some huge air before front steering problems
troubled him.
"I just took a really weird hit and
the cradle was done for," said Andy. "We have gone through
a few shows since then just fine, and I think it was just one of
those things."
We've got you covered with new photos from
Steve Parry from both events! Enjoy!
7-17-2008
The team is currently in Middletown, New
York for a Monster Truck Challenge event, and we hope to have photos

A lot has been happening in the Slifko camp
lately, both for Andy and Jeremy! Jeremy was able to get some more
seat time behind the wheel of Backdraft and impressed the fans at
one of the biggest summer stops, Virginia Beach, for five shows in
three days. We have a full photo gallery available of that courtesy
of Dustin Hart. Andy is currently in Canada and will be updating us
on his schedule very soon. Thank you to all of the
Sponsorsand people that support us!

Andy took Eradicator and Backdraft to
Naples, Florida for a very special show. Jeremy Slifko made his
official racing debut behind the wheel of Backdraft, and even beat
his father in his first race!
"It was a photo finish, but he got
me," said Andy. "He did great, and it seemed like
everyone, including me, was happy."
Enjoy our new photos from Macon, Georgia,
and we are working on a full summer schedule soon!

part 2
The past few weekends have been very
successful for Andy and John. Macon, Georgia was simply Eradicator
domination, with Andy sweeping the three donut contests, then taking
two out of three racing wins and a freestyle win on the weekend.
Results can be seen HERE.
In Bridgeport, Connecticut this past weekend (pictured
above, thanks to KB for the photo), Andy was able to take a racing
victory and a huge wheelie contest victory (Full Results HERE).
John is continuing his improvement behind the wheel of Backdraft,
and has been putting on solid performances with minimal breakage.
Both Eradicator and Backdraft will be in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
this weekend, so be sure to say, "Hi" to Andy and John if
you see them there!

2/25/2008
A grueling four-show weekend in Baltimore
ended successfully for Andy and John, but not without some breakage
along the way.
"We had some engine problems during
the show, and I actually almost drove the Taz truck because of the
problems everyone else was having," said Andy.
Andy was able to get second place in the
wheelie contest, runner-up in racing, and third in freestyle Friday
night, and both Andy and John had solid scores all weekend.
"I was really impressed with John, he
really did well this weekend," said Andy. "Having two
trucks that run hard is always a positive, and John is doing
great."
We will have more announcements on the team
soon, so keep checking back!
2/19/2008
Andy and John have been tearing it up all
over the place! First in Miami, Andy had some steering problems in
racing, but ended third in a huge field of trucks in freestyle,
while John continued getting used to the new setup on Backdraft and
was solid all around. In Kansas City, Andy took the wheelie contest
win during the first show, but suffered a broken crankshaft and was
out for the rest of the weekend. John picked up where Andy left off
though.
"We had some issues with John's truck
at the start of the year, but things are working out and he's
definitely more comfortable in the truck. He's getting some big
air!" said Andy.
Pittsburgh brought four shows in three
days, a marathon of monster trucking. Andy and John were in the top
half of the field in the wheelie contest and freestyle all weekend,
and did not suffer damage. Full results are HERE,
and photos from the event will be online soon. For now, enjoy a
second gallery from Raleigh, courtesy of Steve Parry. Our Contact
page is updated as well.
2/1/2008
Andy and John had a successful weekend in
Raleigh, with Andy winning one wheelie contest and just missing
another despite a performance that looked stronger than the winner.
"I felt like I couldn't have done much
more for the wheelie contests both nights," said Andy.
"They gave it to another truck one night, but I think most of
the fans liked it!"
John is quickly getting used to Backdraft's
new setup and had some big air for the fans in freestyle. Photos
from the weekend are now online courtesy of Dustin Hart!

Photos of Backdraft and Eradicator from
Minneapolis are now online in our Photos
section. Enjoy, and we will have photos and updates from
the team's trip to Raleigh this weekend also!
1/21/2008
It was a great weekend in Minneapolis for
the second stop of Andy and John's 2008 season. Andy took Eradicator
all the way to the final four in the 16-truck field, then scored a
23 in freestyle with the best donuts of the evening, good for fourth
on the night. You can watch video of Andy's freestyle HERE.
John had transmission problems in
Montgomery, but Backdraft was running great in Minneapolis and
scored a 15 in freestyle, with solid all-around results and no
breakage. Video of Backdraft's freestyle can be seen HERE.
"We really felt great about the show
and did everything we could without tearing up equipment," said
Slifko.
We will have more photos from both
Minneapolis and Montgomery online soon!
"Everything felt great on the truck
and I ran hard," he said. "I am ready for next week in
Minneapolis."
John didn't have as much luck, breaking two
transmissions on the weekend and an orbital steering valve. The team
is going over the transmission problems before this weekend's big
stadium show in Minneapolis. Photos from Montgomery are on the way!
1/3/2008
Andy and team have the first week of the
season off, but they have been busy preparing for Montgomery,
Alabama.
"We have gone over the transmissions
in both Backdraft and Eradicator, and both trucks have new engines.
We're loaded for bear this year," said Andy.
In addition to those changes, Backdraft
will be getting a new look for 2008 that includes new graphics on
the body. The entire truck has been powder coated candy apple red
and fitted with new shocks. Andy told us it will be more compatible
with Eradicator parts-wise and performance-wise. We want to thank
our sponsors for supporting us, and look forward to an exciting
2008. Look for all your Eradicator and Backdraft news here!
